Cadet Chad Casey Takes Advantage of Army Travel Opportunity

CDT Chad Casey, a clinical lab sciences major and potential medical service corps commissionee, is shown here in Rome, Italy where he  recently took advantage of an opportunity of a lifetime.  When CDT Casey signed up for Cadet Troop Leadership Training (CTLT), he never imagined he would find himself in Italy, Germany, or any place that would be considered a vacation by most.  Although Casey traveled to Hawaii last year to complete Air Assault training, his trip to Wrzburg, Germany for CTLT  was a different experience for him.   "I learned alot about Roman and European History", Casey says.  "We got a three day weekend, so I jumped on a train, and headed down to Italy".  Casey attended CTLT following attendance at the National Advanced Leadership Camp at Fort Lewis, WA.  He says, "I would go to CTLT again, if given the opportunity.  It was an awesome experience".  If you are interested in finding our more about CTLT, or any of the travel opportunities that the Army ROTC program offers, contact CPT Durham.
